Ryan Crawford’s background in the sport began as a jump jockey in his youth before relocating to Australia. Like most who have lived the racing life, the passion never fades. In 2023, Ryan was given the opportunity to manage a rider, leading to the formation of Crawford Sports Management.

That experience laid the foundation for a hands-on, results-driven approach, with multiple riders successfully guided through key stages of their careers.

Box Seat Management has since been launched as a boutique, elite jockey management service, designed for riders competing — or aspiring to compete — at provincial and metropolitan level. The focus is firmly on quality over quantity, with a highly personalised approach to career planning, opportunity management, and rider wellbeing both on and off the track.
